Mausoleum Options at Allegheny Cemetery
Chapel of the Angels Mausoleum
This beautiful and inspiring Chapel of the Angels is available for memorial services and private meditation. Its natural lighting and patterned granite floor create a sacred and reflective atmosphere for year-round visitation by family and friends.
Visitors will find the chapel filled with the warmth of bronze crypt fronts depicting angels, as well as traditional granite fronts with bronze angel plates. Crypt space is available for entombment of full sized caskets. Niche space is available on the outer chapel behind the bronze angels that flank the entrance.
Temple of Memories
The Temple of Memories is one of the finest public mausoleums in the country. Built in 1961 and expanded several times since, it offers 8,000 crypt spaces and 1,200 urn niches for entombment and cremation memorialization.
Visitors will find custom stained glass windows and floor-to-ceiling marble throughout the building. The Raymond F. Moreland Memorial Chapel, located within the Temple of Memories, is available for committal services.
Niche space is currently available, with options for glass-front or interior-illuminated displays — allowing families to showcase a chosen urn or add a personal, lasting touch to their loved one’s memorial.
